Who is responsible
This website is operated by Dr. Saurabh Kapoor, Advocate, New Delhi (“the chambers”). For any privacy request, contact the chambers by phone or WhatsApp at +91 99103 44303 or through the contact page.
What is collected
Enquiries. When you call, message or use the enquiry form, the chambers collects the details you provide — name, phone number, email, city, the type of matter, any dates, and your summary — together with the page you sent it from and the time of submission. This information is used to respond to you, to check for conflicts of interest, and to record the enquiry in the chambers’ case-management system.
Website use. The site uses privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that record page views and clicks on the call, WhatsApp and enquiry buttons in aggregate. No advertising cookies or cross-site trackers are used. A single browser setting remembers that you have dismissed the professional notice.
Clients. If you engage the chambers, further information — documents, identity records, case details and billing information — is collected under the engagement terms and the advocate’s professional obligations of confidentiality.
Legal basis and purpose
Personal data is processed with your consent (which you give when you send an enquiry) and for the legitimate purpose of responding to your enquiry, assessing conflicts, and, if you become a client, providing legal services and complying with professional and statutory obligations.
Sharing
Enquiry data is stored in the chambers’ case-management system hosted on Supabase (data centre in Mumbai, India) and the website is hosted on Vercel. Messages sent by WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp’s own terms. The chambers does not sell or share your information with marketers. Information is disclosed only where required by law, by a court, or by the professional rules governing advocates.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to three years from the last contact, unless an engagement follows, in which case client records are retained for the period required by law and professional practice. You may ask for earlier erasure of an enquiry that did not lead to an engagement.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent for further contact, and nominate another person to exercise these rights. Requests are answered within a reasonable time; identity may need to be verified. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the advocate and authorised staff. Do not send passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar or bank credentials through the website or messaging.
Children
The website is not directed at children, and the chambers does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian.
