What to keep ready for the first call
- The parties and the forum — NCLT, DRT, High Court, arbitral tribunal — and the case number, if there is one.
- The stage: notice received, petition filed, reply due, order passed, appeal period running.
- Any date or deadline you already know of.
- The main documents — the notice or order, the contract or articles, and account statements (photographs on your phone are fine at this stage).
Do not send passwords, OTPs, Aadhaar or bank credentials by message. Original documents are reviewed in person.
